Emphasis on Sounds

So per the recommendation of world traveler Joe Hucik, I have decided to a) rejuvenate this blog and bring it back from the dead, and b) spin a musical emphasis into it, rather than just rambling about meaningless stuff no one cares about! Obviously I will continue to ramble about meaningless stuff, sucks for anyone who actually wastes their time reading this blog.

Since we all know my taste in music is 2nd to none, and spend copious amounts of time blowing cash on itunes/beatport, listening to a plethora of podcasts, and roaming hypemachine, soundcloud, etc. for new stuff; I will be previewing then posting my favorite songs/albums of the musical world.

We'll start it with Michael Cassette's album called Temporarity which dropped late in 2010.

It's a very smooth album in terms of flow and sound. Each track blends very very nicely with the others. His sound is pretty unique, almost as if you fused old school trance rhythms with a disco beat. Of course not every track is to this description, but take a listen. My personal favorites are "Through the Windows", "Shadows Movement" and "Ghost in the Machine". "Through the Windows" is a pretty popular track and has made its way into some popular itunes podcasts and DJ mixes.
