Do I need to rationalize sleeping?

Over the years I have been a part of many debates, but the most furious deal with the "sleep in vs. wake up early" arguement, which has been fuming for ages. Now, I admittedly am a person who loves sleeping. I don't even know if its fun or exhilarating, because I'm asleep while I do it, but either way it is awesome and is probably my favorite thing to do besides eat. On more than one occasion I've run into people who prefer to wake up somewhat early on the weekends because they "dont like to waste half of their day sleeping". Some of these people like to belittle us sleepers saying it is totally unproductive to sleep in until 11 or 12 on a saturday. My arguement to them: what the heck is there to do at 930am on a saturday morning? Oh thats right, sit around, watch tv, make breakfast, check e-mails, etc. (aka do nothing). Sleeping for an extra 2 hours is 30x more productive than doing that stuff. Not only are you rejuvenating your brain with longer durations of REM sleep, but you are really missing out on nothing by sleeping in. Besides, if you wake up early, you're just going to be tempted to take a nap later, which will cause you to...drumroll....waste part of your day sleeping!! or...drumroll....be unproductive becuase youre tired!!!

Let's recap:

SLEEPING IN-
Pros: Awesomeness, sheer enjoyment, mental benefits, cool dreams, cool nightmares, good exercise, oil free skin, awesomeness.
Cons: None** other than missing out on waffles at your local breakfast joint.

WAKING UP EARLY-
Pros: Pancakes, Waffles.
Cons: Lack of cool dreams, inefficiency, mental lethargy, being addicted to caffiene, insanity, warts, watching saturday morning television.

Well this is a little odd...

Looks like there really is hope out there for those of you who aren't into the changing underwear on a regular basis thing. But before you jump all over these new space underwear, I say give the changing underwear thing an honest try for a couple weeks, I think you'll like it.
